Dr. Michael J. Clune received his undergraduate degree at Kalamazoo College and obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University. He completed his ophthalmology training at the Kresge Eye Institute. He has published work in the management of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma surgery and photorefractive keratectomy. He has been the Section Chief of Ophthalmology at St. John Hospital & Medical Center since 2005. He has also been honored as a “Top Doc” by Hour Detroit Magazine.
Dr. Clune is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology; he is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Michigan State Medical Society and American Medical Association.
