Dr. Joel L. Pelavin received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing and his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed his ophthalmology residency at The Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Pelavin has published work in the areas of Systemic Hypertension and Age in Low Tension Glaucoma Patients as well as Complications of Phakic Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens Implants.
